How to pin Simple CRM to Windows 8 Home screen for PCs and tablets?

As indicated in the recommended configuration for Simple CRM, we recommend that you use the Google Chrome browser on Windows 8 for PCs and tablets.

When Google Chrome is installed, launch it from the Windows 8 home screen.

Windows 8 for PCs and tablets does not allow you to add an item to the Windows 8 Home screen.
We will use the Google Chrome shelf to store your Simple CRM address.

1) First make sure that Chrome works in Windows 8 mode
To do this, click on the settings icon (at the top right of the star).
If the option "Restart Chrome in Windows 8 mode" appears at the bottom of the list, click on it.
If the option "Restart Chrome in Windows 8 mode" does not appear, go to step 2.



 2) Add the Simple CRM icon on the shelf

Log in to the login page of your Simple CRM (we have given you this address by email).
Once on the Simple CRM login page, click on the settings icon (at the top right of the star).
Then click on the option "More tools" then "Add to shelf...".


A dialog box appears.


The shelf appears at the bottom of the screen, with an icon for Simple CRM.

3) Launching Simple CRM from the Windows 8 home screen

From the Home screen, launch Chrome.
The shelf appears at the bottom of the screen, with an icon for Simple CRM.
Click the Simple CRM icon. you reach the login screen.
