RGPD and deleting a contact

RGPD 2018, or European Data Protection Regulation, is mandatory for all companies engaging with European citizens, under penalty of a fine of 4% of annual turnover. RGPD DEFINITION.

If a contact requires you to permanently delete their contact details (and therefore not simply archive them as explained on, please request support via the form on the page:

Indeed, RGPD requires in case of deletion that all storage media containing the contact details are deleted. This means that the support will have to permanently delete the contact in your Simple CRM but also delete the backups containing this contact.
