How to create specific fields to qualify customers or leads?

How to create specific fields to qualify customers or leads?

You can qualify contacts using INTEREST CENTERS that you create via the REQUEST button in the top menu (icon: binocular pair).

The advantage is that you can perform queries and thus create prospecting lists.

So you can easily customize your Simple CRM online to your specific needs.

So, for example, if you want to see: "all customers in the Rhône Alpes area of category A", you just have to click in REQUEST on the check boxes "Rhône Alpes area" and "category A", to see the list of potential customers.

Create custom fields with Simple Custom

Simple Custom allows you to add custom fields in:

Company
Contact
Project
Interaction
Product

These fields can be of type:

Text
Digit
Date
Simple choice drop-down menu
Multiple choice scrolling menu

You can, of course, make queries on these fields.

Create fields

The first step, in case you want to propose a drop-down menu, you will need to store the contents of the menu(s).

Imagine that you want to specify the sector of activity of a company.

You have to go:
Administration space
Select the "List management" tab
Enter the name of the list
Click on Save
A new "List Items" button appears: click on it
Enter the items in the list and save
Once this step is completed, return to the administration area and select the "Custom fields" tab, then select the entity where you want to create fields:

Then all you have to do is:
Name your custom field
Choose your type (Text, Numeric or Date)
To link it or not to a drop-down menu list
Click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the page

If you wish to change the order of the fields, simply point your mouse at the Reference of the field, click, then drag and drop.

Perform a search on custom fields
Go to Search
Click on Advanced Search

Switch to Expert Mode
Then at the bottom of the window perform the search on the desired Simple Customs fields

How to qualify contacts at the end of a sales process?

The best is to create 2 areas of interest:
- Prospect
- Customer

When importing contacts, assign them the "Prospect" focus.
- When launching your marketing campaign, add the "Prospect" focus to your search.

At the end of the sales process, if the result is "Sell - 6 - Win", open the contact's record, remove the "Prospect" focus from the contact's record, and add the "Customer" focus to the contact.

If the result is "Sell - 7 - Lost", open the contact form and remove the "Prospect" focus from the contact form, without affecting the "Customer" focus.

In this way, for the following campaigns you can choose:
- only prospects (to whom you have not yet sold anything)
- only customers (to whom you have already sold)
- customers and prospects (whether you have already sold them or not)

I want to put the Interests Center to companies and not to contacts, how to do?

Actually, you already do.

When you click on a POI query, you see the Contact persons, and next to them the Companies, so you know which Company has which POI.

The Centre of Interest is listed in the Contact form for a very simple reason: in a company of 300 people, each employee sells a single product. If the name of the product, which is a Point of Interest, is indicated on the Company form and not on the Contact form, you will need to call 300 employees to find the one selling the product you are interested in. If it is in the Contact form, call you directly to the right person.

In addition, people within the same company may have different areas of interest.

Example: the sales manager wants sales consulting and the human resources manager wants safety training for employees.
