Voice recognition problems with Happy

Attention, the speech recognition system only works correctly on computer: not on mobile or tablet (however some users have told us that Happy works very well with the majority of mobile and Android tablets, but it is impossible for us to list all the models that may or may not be compatible, because it depends on the manufacturers).

Happy speech recognition is in BETA version. Given the many factors that allow speech recognition to work correctly or not (quality of your microphone, level of use of your CPU and RAM, noise interference, pronunciation, etc..), Simple CRM offers no guarantee on the proper operation of this service, which is why it is offered free of charge.

Happy may not hear what you say correctly.

Here's how to solve the problem.

Step 1: Do you use the right browser, did you allow the microphone and did you allow popups to open?
You must use CHROME : no other browser is compatible with Happy .

You must authorize the use of the microphone from the Happy window:

Then it allows you to open popups.

To do this, go to the Chrome settings:

At the bottom of the page, click Show Advanced Settings.

Under "Privacy", click Content Settings -> Pop-up Windows -> Manage Exceptions:

Finally, enter your Simple CRM login address, without the http://
and allow, then click OK:

Step 2: Isn't there too much noise around you?

Happy is like a human being; if there is too much noise, she will have trouble understanding you.

So please use it in a quiet place.

Step 3: Is your Internet connection fast?

For Happy to understand you, you need a quality Internet line.

Please test your line via this page: http://crm-pour-pme.fr/vitesse_internet/index.html

Below a result of 10,000 kbps, you will encounter problems with Happy.

Step 4: Is your microphone of good quality?

To do so, please register. If the sound quality is poor, the microphone should be changed.

See:

How to record a sound with Windows?
How do I record sound with Mac?

Step 5: Mac special bug

MacOS contains an important bug.

When your battery charge drops below a certain threshold, a battery management service pushes the processors to almost 100% usage.

The older your battery, the more often the problem will occur.

An immediate solution is to turn off your Mac computer, let it charge, then turn it on again and use Happy again (without turning it off or at least one restart, the problem may persist).

A basic solution is to replace your battery if it is at the end of its life. See information at: https://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT201585

Step 6: Mac special bug number 2
Some Macs encounter problems after OS updates, in terms of connection stability, especially via WIFI.

If the voice recognition problem persists, please connect via a network cable and not WIFI.

How to use Simple CRM well so that Happy finds leads for you?

Happy, from version 2.0 beta (available on 15/11/2016), finds leads for you. These potential
customers will only be B2B customers present in France and/or Belgium. Important note: this feature
is free.

For those who are not familiar with this possibility, here is a short video :

In order for Happy to find leads, it must be able to analyze data in order to launch searches.

It is therefore ESSENTIAL that when you enter a company code, you specify :

SIRET number if it is a French company
VAT number if it is a Belgian company or a French company that has a VAT number
The address of this company

Secondly, it is essential to properly manage your sales opportunities.

For those who are not familiar with interaction management, it is imperative to read this explanation:
http://www.simple-crm-support.com/2016/04/limportance-de-maitriser-la-notion.html

In the case of a sale, the interaction evolves from the first contact to a conclusion that is
either positive (SALE WON) or negative (SALE LOSSED):

It is also ESSENTIAL to respect these steps well and to place, at the conclusion, the interaction
either in WINNED or LOSED, and to define its state in TERMINE:

As your work progresses, Happy will send you lead proposals, which will appear in your daily calendar:

In this interaction, you will find attached documents that are potential lead sheets:

If you click on the card a document will quickly be downloaded on your computer,
document that opens a tracking card. Buttons, present in the file, will allow you to track this
potential lead on the web, in order to check if this lead really interests you:

If this lead seems relevant to you, you can import it into your Simple CRM:

This import will create a company record and a sales interaction that you will find de facto
in your daily calendar:

It should be noted that inside this interaction, you will find the linked form again, which
will allow you to use the tracking tools again if necessary, to find the website of this company,
its phone number, its employees on Linkedin, etc..

Can I disable this feature?
The feature is enabled by default but of course, from the user administration area, you
can disable this feature of HaPPi.

For that:
1) Go to the CRM Admin (top menu -> CRM Admin)
2) Go to tab "1. List of users"
3) Open the relevant user profile
4) Uncheck the box "Receive leads by Happy" and click on the button Save

Launch Happy - Free version of Happy

Happy works only through the free web browser Chrome.

Happy is accessible from the application launcher.

The first time you launch Happy , you will need to allow it to access your microphone. If you do not allow this, Happy will not be able to hear you.

If necessary, click to the right of the address bar from the Happy window and allow access by hand:

Once Happy is launched, it is at your disposal.

Happy won't analyze what you tell him until you tell him: "Happy  THE FOLLOW-UP OF YOUR PHRASE..."

When you launch Happy , to see if it works, simply say "Happy  hello".

A confirmation window will appear in Happy , which you will need to close.

You don't have to stay on the Happy window to have it answer your questions: you can be in any other program and talk to it.

To check that everything is working, simply say "Happy  office". At that moment, Chrome will ask you to authorize the opening of a popup. You must accept:

If your Chrome web browser does not offer this choice of activation, please go to http://www.simple-crm-support.com/2016/09/problemes-de-reconnaissance-vocale-avec.html to follow an additional explanation (this problem can happen with some versions of Chrome coupled with some antivirus).

If Happy is not allowed to open windows, she will not be able to show you the result of her work.

Navigation orders - Free version of Happy

Happy can navigate Simple CRM for you; extremely convenient when working in traffic jams!

To open an entity, you can say for example: "Happy  goes on the desktop" or "Happy  opens projects".

You might as well say: "Happy  opens Facebook" and she will understand.

Be aware that Happy can be disturbed by ambient noise or experience problems if you have a low quality microphone. Therefore, it is advisable if it does not respond properly to simplify your order. For example, instead of saying: "Happy  opens the calendar", simply say: "Happy  calendar".

Basic searches - Free version of Happy

You can ask Happy : "Happy  searches for Pierre Dujardin" or "Happy  displays my calendar for the week" or more complicated searches such as: "Happy  displays the list of purchase orders in progress".

Advanced searches - Free version of Happy

You can also ask more complex questions such as "Happy displays the list of customers who have never contacted support" or "Happy displays potential customers".

Test what goes through your mind; Happy is resourceful.

And all the other questions you're asking yourself

During your lunch breaks, you can also have fun trying to catch Happyby asking him for example: "Happy why is the internet the cat kingdom" or "Happy do you believe in God".

Feel free to post your discoveries below, whether they are fun or really practical.

If Happy does not seem to respond well...

It can sometimes happen that she gets tired ;-)

Simply refresh the page where Happy is located.

If the problem persists, please follow the instructions on this page: http://www.simple-crm-support.com/2016/09/problemes-de-reconnaissance-vocale-avec.html
